I brought a lot of assignments to mark in the AMK library today. The second level was crowded with people, but I managed to find a table that was only occupied by 2 JC students. So, I settled down and started working.

Feeling bored after marking a stack of papers, I got up and walked to the parapet, looking towards the first level. Coincidentally, I saw a bunch of kids from 2 Grace downstairs. Grinning to myself, I stood there and waited for them to notice me.

One of them suddenly raised her head and saw me. Her face changed colour.. from normal to pale. She whispered rather loudly,  "OMG!". The other students looked up too, and started to OMG in chain effect. Satisfied that I "terrorised" them even in the AMK library, I returned to my seat and continued marking.

Student A: (whispered very loudly again) Oh, he’s there!!

I looked up from the stack of worksheets, and saw the bunch of kids peering at me from behind some shelves. They started giggling. Realizing that they might want to talk to me but didn’t want to walk over, I got up and walked towards them.

Student B: Cher, u teaching tuition ah? (she was referring to the two stranger students sitting at the same table)

Me: No ah..

Student B: Ohh.. she your gf? right? right?

Me: …

Student A: Mr Lin, you paedophile ah!!

Me: … (at the same instant, I was thinking of how Flip was being called one, and now I suffer the same fate as him)

After couple of minutes, I managed to shake off them before causing more embarassment. Phew.

Anyway, it was quite nice to see them outside school. At least they said "hi" and "bye" to me.
