National Day Celebration: The St Nicks Way

The primary and secondary sections combined together to form a 3000-strong crowd for the St Nicks National Day celebration yesterday, and it was amazing. I suppose the primary girls enjoyed it the most, constantly waving their Singapore flags and jumping up and down enthusiastically during the quiz time. As almost all students were seated on the spectator stand, we did a few round of mexican waves, and everyone responded with great excitement.

There were other performances and activities as well, for example, the skit put up by ELDDS, and the Fancy Dress Competition participated across all levels. The celebration ended with a high note when all students and teachers join in to sing a medley of national day songs. I’m certainly looking forward to more of such school events in future. :)

Meanwhile, here are some photos of Team Singapore’s fireworks display last night. A pity that it was very smoky and pale in comparison to Team Italy’s display. Nevertheless, hope you enjoy them.

Happy National Day!!
