It’s Singapore Fireworks Festival again!!
Wow, the turn-up was great yesterday. Almost all available space around Esplanade was jam-packed with fireworks watchers and photographers, who patiently waited for the commencement of the Singapore Fireworks Festival 2006. It started at 9pm, but I was there with my gf at around 830pm, hoping to still be able to get a good position to set up my camera for photo-taking.
Luckily enough, we found an empty spot near the edge of the walkway which had a good unblocked view towards the direction of the fireworks barge.
905pm, 5 minutes later than the stipulated time, and the first few rounds of fireworks started! Everyone applauded and cheered, awed by the magnificent display put up by Team Italy. This time round, the fireworks were accompanied by music and songs (although they didn’t quite synchronize).
